Para pembalap Indonesia sukses ‘menggila’ di lintasan reli Australia setelah Rifat Sungkar-Scott Beckwith dan Subhan Aksa-Hade Mboi hari ini berurutan menempati podium kedua dan ketiga ajang Pacific Cup.

Dua Perally Indonesia yaitu Rifat Sungkar / Scott Beckwith berbendera Pertamina Cusco racing Team dan Subhan Aksa / Hade Mboi berbendera Bosowa rally team, semalam (13/5) telah distart bersama 94 peserta International Rally of Queensland yang akan bertarung pada 19 Special Stage / Trayek khusus dengan jarak total 733,65 kilometer hingga hari Minggu (15/5).
Rifat Sungkar dengan kendaraan Mitsubishi Evolution X , menggunakan nomer pintu 6 langsung menjalankan 2 Super Special stage dilintasan tarmac / aspal dengan mencata waktu tempuh SS 1 ; 1menit 33 detik dan SS2 : 1 menit 31 detik, sementara Subhan Aksa dengan kendaraan Mitsubishi evolution IX dengan nomer pintu 12 mencatat waktu di SS1 : 1 menit 32 detik dan SS2 : 1 menit 30 detik. Atas hasil waktu tempuh tersebut kedua perally Indonesia menempatkan posisinya di Leg 1 day 1 diposisi 8 (Subhan aksa/Hade Mboi) dan posisi 7 Rifat Sungkar/Scott Beckwith).
Posisi pertama di Leg1 day 1 ini diraih oleh peserta Chris Atkinson/Stephane Prevot (2 mnt 52,1 dtk) , posisi 2 – Alister McRae/ Bill Hayes (2 mnt 52,8 dtk) ) , posisi 3 diraih oleh Nathan Quinn/ david Green (2 mnt 58,7 dtk) dan posisi 3 & 4 – Gurav Gill / Glen McNeal dan Mark Higgins / Ieuan Thomas. When Australia’s round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) kicks off on Friday 13 May with two blasts around the spectator friendly Caloundra super special stage, the Pertamina Cusco Racing Team will make its first appearance in Australia – a new team, but with familiar faces in the cockpit. Rifat Sungkar and Scott Beckwith – who competed in the 2010 event in all red for Pertamina – now lead the Pertamina Cusco Racing team with its striking black livery complimented with grey and Pertamina red. A partnership between Indonesia’s pre-eminent supplier of fuel and oils, Pertamina, along with the Japanese based specialty car parts manufacturer Cusco, and joined by tyre supplier Yokohama, the relationship brings together a vast amount of experience and capability. SPORTKU.COM – Event Fastron Gold Time Attack 2011 yang diadakan kemarin (1/05) menyedot banyak perhatian. Untuk menambah keramaian tersebut pihak penyelenggara mengadakan exhibition berupa drifting. Acara inipun ternyata tidak kalah hebohnya dengan acara Time Attack, puluhan pasang mata berkumpul ditikungan besar Sirkuit International Sentul untuk melihat performa dari Rifat Sungkar, Akbar Rais dan Aditya. Karena saking asyknya ngegas, peserta Akbar Rais sampai mengalami pecah ban sehingga tidak bisa lanjutkan performanya. Read more
